In order to strengthen the exchange of terahertz testing technologies across various industries in the Beijing region, deepen mutual understanding among the industry, academia, research, and application sectors in the field of terahertz testing, and promote the advancement and application development of terahertz science and technology, the "2024 Beijing Terahertz Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technology Symposium" was held on November 28, 2024 at the Beijing Liaoning Hotel. The symposium was organized by the NDT Branch of the Beijing Society of Mechanical Engineering and hosted by Beijing HuaTai KERN Science & Technology Co., Ltd.

Despite the chilly wind, the passionate enthusiasm remained unshaken. More than 50 representatives from member units of the NDT Branch of the Beijing Society of Mechanical Engineering participated in the symposium.
